Leo looked through his little window.
There was the moon.
‘Hello, moon.’
Dad closed the curtains halfway.
There was still the moon.
Leo lay down on his pillow.
Now he could see one bright corner.
‘Can it see my bear?’ he asked.
Dad lifted Bear beside him.
Dad helped Bear wave a soft paw.
Leo waved a sleepy hand.
Dad tucked them both in.
The curtain moved. The bright corner disappeared.
But Leo knew the moon was outside.
And Bear was right here.
That was enough for tonight.
